The Society of Theravada Buddha Sasana welcomes anyone who is interested in Burmese culture and Buddhism to be STBS members. We provide our members:

Theravada Buddhist teachings
A new sima hall for weekly meditation classes, periodic retreats, and ordination ceremonies
Burmese language class for children
A lending library
A place to celebrate Burmese cultural and religious holidays
An English-Burmese calendar (published yearly at no cost to the members).
The Dhammarekkhita Monastery is the home of our abbot, Ven. Ashin Visakhana and his assistant monk, Ven. Ashin Tayzaw Bhatha.  Our Society of Theravada Buddha Sasana is the "home sweet home" for Burmese in United States and our American friends interested in Buddhism and Burmese culture. Click the "Register" link under Member Login on the left side of this page. 
You will be prompted to enter a user name, password, and email address.  Please be sure the email you enter is correct as this is a verified registration process. 
You will receive an email with the verification code. 
Return to this page and enter the user name and password.  You will be prompted to enter the verification code.
Once you login, you can click on your user name that will be displayed on the upper right corner of the page.  You will be able to manage your profile from the page that will be displayed.  Please enter your address, phone number, and other information.  You can set who can see the information you enter (public, members only, or admin).
Once you have logged in, you will be able to take advantage of site features that are not available to non-members.  Also, you will receive our newsletter and notification of upcoming events.

Funding for STBS
Burmese who reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana are the main source of financial support. Donations from the general public are welcome. Additional funding is done by Burmese Buddhists in United States and other donors who are interested in Buddhism.

STBS is registered at the state of Indiana in according with Non Profit Corporation Act. The Corporation is organized solely for non-profit purposes. No part of the income of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of any member, director, officer of the organization, any private individual.
