The Society of Theravada Buddha Sasana welcomes anyone who is interested in Burmese culture and Buddhism to be STBS members. We provide our members:

An English-Burmese calendar (published yearly at no cost to the members).
The Dhammarekkhita Monastery is the home of our abbot, Ven. Ashin Visakhana and his assistant monk, Ven. Ashin Tayzaw Bhatha. Our Society of Theravada Buddha Sasana is the "home sweet home" for Burmese in United States and our American friends interested in Buddhism and Burmese culture. Funding for STBS
Burmese who reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana are the main source of financial support. Donations from the general public are welcome. Additional funding is done by Burmese Buddhists in United States and other donors who are interested in Buddhism.
STBS is registered at the state of Indiana in according with Non Profit Corporation Act. The Corporation is organized solely for non-profit purposes. No part of the income of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of any member, director, officer of the organization, any private individual.
