Thila Withawdani Sima Hall Grand Opening Celebration 
Dear Dhamma Friends:

            Through the generosity and tireless effort of our resident monks, members, and donors throughout the world, we are proud to be able to invite you to the Grand Opening Ceremony of Dhammarekkhita Monastery’s Thila Withawdani Sima Hall. The Sima Hall is of the utmost importance to Buddhism. This is the place where new monks are ordained. The ordination of monks is essential because without the Sangha, the Buddha’s teachings would not be handed down to the laypeople, and the Buddha Sasana would be lost.
 
We warmly invite you to come and share in the following events:

Time:    9:00 – 10:30 AM – Temporary Monk and Nun Ordination Ceremony followed by alms-giving to the monks and nuns
11:00 – Lunch served to the monks and nuns
12:00 - Lunch served to the guests
1:00 – Dhamma Talk and Sharing of Merits
4:00 – 9:00 PM – Traditional Burmese Family Entertainment
